The Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE) in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences may offer a number of scholarships to assist with full-time or part-time enrolment in the Master of Arts (Professional and Applied Ethics) (MAPAE). The scholarship will take the form of a partial fee-waiver for one or more courses which are components of the MAPAE program.
There is no need to apply for the scholarship. In each semester in whcih funding for the scholarship is available, all students with current enrolment in the Master of Arts (Professional and Applied Ethics) will automatically be considered for the scholarship. Both domestic and international applicants/students will be eligible for consideration.
The Master of Arts in Professional and Applied Ethics is an exciting coursework and research program developed by leading international researchers located in the Centre of Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics (CAPPE) at the ANU. It will be available to students worldwide via enriched online delivery as well as on campus in Canberra and at delivery points in Sydney and Melbourne. The program is not only a valuable qualification in its own right for those working in government, industry, and the professions, but is also a pathway to a PhD program in Professional and Applied Ethics.
It will be taught by staff from the Australian National Univeristy (ANU) division of CAPPE in conjunction with staff from the University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University divisions of CAPPE. Students will have the opportunity to take courses via credit transfer from equivalent programs at the University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University and will also have access to a wide range of electives from complementary areas within ANU.
